Neighborhood News- January 23, 2020

I am excited to update you on our annual Advent Offering.  This year we identified Kitsap Homes of Compassion.

KHOC is eliminating homelessness, one shared home at a time. We were already partnering with KHOC through our Thanksgiving Meal, house managers, and maintenance assistance.  Our desire was to join them financially.  The finances would be used in two different ways.  First, each home opened costs roughly $5000.00, which includes initial deposits and other various expenses.  Second, although the majority of the organization is facilitated via volunteers, there are some operational expenses involved.  Transitions, bookkeeping, and miscellaneous cost arise in an effort to provide uniformity and fluidity.

This year we collected a little over $13,900.00!  That is amazing!  Thank you so much for giving towards what God is doing in our community.  If you think you missed the opportunity to give… you haven’t.  We will continue to collect through the end of January.  Let’s continue to pray for Joel Adamson as he leads KHOC.

Blessings,
Pastor Eric
